Christmas, Christmas and more Christmas!

Lucy has had wonderful Christmas celebrations so far...one more to come this weekend!!!  Lots of fun, family, food and presents!

SHe loves all her new things...fun fun!  She has already used the easel that Uncle Chris was so kind to set up!  Thanks G and G! She loves the puppy dog from aunt Kates and uncle Chris!  Merry Christmas everyone!  We are going to take a nap now.........

She was over stimulated i think...as she just kinda stared the entire time...not squeezing out a smile.....it was funny.  We went to see Santa and she did MUCH better than last year...when she screamed bloody murder!  THis year I still sat with her but she didn't cry just sat there without expression.  Oh, Lucy.  It wasnt til we were done with the exhibit that we went to the store where she immediately perked up when she saw a baby doll!  (which yes...i did buy for her!)  We had a fun time.  Grandma Jerri, Auntie Brittney, Auntie Lou and Great Grandma Marilyn all joined us!  So nice to spend time with family!

Lucy was very excited when I gave her a coconut milk "ice cream" popsicle.  She sat righ by the Christmas tree and ate the whole thing!  After she was done, she needed to go feed her baby.  She just LOVES babies.  She takes such good care of them.  Its pretty darn cute!

Hot cocoa to warm us up!

SO--it was a bit chilly so we decided to make some hot cocoa!  Lucy had never had it before!  SO we made some.  Unsweetened coconut milk with organic dark chocolate simmering in a pot on the stove.  A little untraditional but OH SO YUMMY!  Lucy enjoyed stirring it with me as it heated up on the stove.  She also enjoyed licking the chocolate off of the spatula :)!  Quite a messy adventure this was!  And yes, you are seeing the pictures correctly---i let her transfer hot (warm) cocoa from one cup to another.....ya only live once right...chocolate stained clothes and tablecloth...oh well!:)

what a beautiful snowfall we are having today! Lucky isnt too sure but lucy is! We went out to "help" Dad shovel and decided to take cover from the blizzard! fun fun!
